Dear Students,

Our Electrical and Electronics Engineering department aims to train Electrical and Electronics Engineers who have a qualified scientific background, can think analytically and put it into practice, are sensitive to the problems of society can produce solutions, and have environmental and ethical awareness. Our students will be equipped with an education-training curriculum prepared according to the needs of our country and the world, with the qualified academic staff of our department, and who can compete at national and international levels. Since Şırnak is one of the border regions of Turkey and is located at a point of geopolitical importance on the border of two countries, our students will have the opportunity to quickly put the theoretical knowledge they receive into practice in national and internationally developed industrial branches. Our students will be able to do their summer internships in industrial establishments in Şırnak centre and surrounding provinces and find job opportunities in these establishments after graduation. After receiving the basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering infrastructure during their undergraduate education, our students will be able to continue their postgraduate education in fields such as electricity, electronics, control and automation, communication, medical electronics, electromagnetic fields and microwaves.
