AI Everywhere 2024 - Chip & System Design in the Age of Generative AI
Generative AI has exploded! Yesterday’s large language models are taking on new modalities, including vision. Multi-modal models display better understanding of the world, and better ability to generalise, than ever before. Enterprises are taking advantage of generative AI for business analytics and customer services, and the proportion of AI in scientific computing is increasing. Robots and all kinds of autonomous vehicles are using AI to combine vision and language like never before. And consumer devices, wearables and sensor devices are using AI to enhance experiences and create new ones.
With the growing number of open-source foundation models available for generative AI, we are moving to the age of inference. Inference in the data center is beginning to roll out at scale while inference at the edge grows to accommodate transformer networks and generative AI in even the smallest of devices. Are emerging AI accelerator chips and IP keeping pace with generative AI’s overnight evolution? Are AI software stacks up to the job? What challenges remain for chip and system design in every use case and how can we discourage fragmentation and encourage efficiency, usability and portability?
Learn more about Chip & System Design in the Age of Generative AI during our two-day virtual event on December 11-12.
What to expect?
With a conference space and resource center, AI Everywhere functions similarly to a live exhibition and conference. The technical conference will include keynotes, panel discussions and technical presentations on a variety of subject matters, including significant technical trends, market demand and new application areas.
Along with the conference, there will be a resource center with microsites from top AI businesses that will include valuable resources available for download.
Who should attend?
This event will cater for AI system designers across the spectrum of AI use cases, embedded engineers and software developers, data scientists and anyone with an interest in AI hardware, software and system design. The aim is to present the latest in hardware and software for this extremely fast-moving sector and discuss the challenges that remain and how the industry should respond to them.
